With literacy and comprehension, the two core elements of reading, one could easily acquire fresh knowledge that is in the form of written language. ③Secondly, reading ability is an important factor which is used to measure the nation’s level of education. A country would be considered as one which possesses spiritual civilization only if its people are adept in reading.
④In my opinion, there are two methods we can take to cultivate capacity for reading. ⑤One is that individuals should practice reading as much as possible. ⑥The other method is that governments should encourage reading through extending reading channels, both online and offline.
⑦To sum up, given the significant role reading ability plays in the society, individuals and governments ought to spare no effort to encourage it.
